Since my last update, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes on our ‘Everyday Excellence’ plan. We’ve picked up the pace and I’m excited to share what we’ve been up to and what’s to come.

To mark International Women’s Day 2026, we spoke to Joanna Judge, Community Hub Officer in Norwich about how she supports and empowers women in her community and about three inspiring women who truly embody this year’s theme, “Give to Gain.”

It all started with Barrett - a guide dog who quickly won hearts at Queensway Court and inspired residents to take action for a cause that matters.

In December, we launched our neighbour of the year competition, a chance to celebrate the everyday kindness happening across our communities. Residents were invited to nominate someone who goes above and beyond to make their neighbourhood a better place.
