The LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge provides a framework for organisations like ours to ensure that LGBTQ+ individuals are welcomed and supported. To achieve this status, we’ve introduced a number of initiatives designed to improve visibility and create a culture of inclusion. This includes the creation of an LGBTQ+ Customer Engagement Group, where we gather feedback and continue to enhance our services.
We’re passionate about making sure that everyone, no matter their background or identity, feels welcome and included in our communities. This recognition is just the beginning, and we’ll continue working with our customers and colleagues to improve and evolve.
We’re also proud to say that three of the eight members of the panel that assessed our work were LGBTQ+ residents themselves, ensuring that the voices of those in our community were central to the process.
